Summary

Brian is a member of the Civil Litigation Practice in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago office. His practice focuses on product liability defense in cases involving consumer goods, fire, and explosion.

Brian graduated from the University of Arizona in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall School of Law in 2006. While at John Marshall, Brian was on the Dean’s List and he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Notable Cases

  • State Farm Fire & Casualty v. Jarden Corporation, 2010 U.S. Dist. Lexis 60327  (S.D. Ind. 2010):  The Court granted Brian's motion to exclude plaintiff's electrical engineering expert under Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals and FRE 702 on the grounds that plaintiff's expert's opinion were unreliable and were not subjected to adequate testing.

 Community Involvement

Brian maintains an active pro bono practice, teaming up with the Center for Disability and Elder Law to assist with litigation involving disabled and elderly individuals.
