David is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Defense Practice in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Rockford Office.

David graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2008. After graduating from law school, he worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Rockford from 2008 to 2011 where he was appointed as a Special Assistant State’s Attorney and was responsible for prosecuting all misdemeanor DUI offenses for the City of Rockford. David then served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the DeKalb County State’s Attorney’s Office from 2011 to 2017 and was most recently assigned to prosecute high level felony narcotics offenses. He has extensive litigation and investigative experience. During his time as a prosecutor, he argued hundreds of pretrial motions and tried numerous cases ranging from the smallest offenses to first-degree murder.
