Summary

Frank Wiedner is a retired partner and co-founder of Wiedner & McAuliffe. Mr. Wiedner began his legal practice in 1949 with an emphasis on civil litigation, quickly transitioning to workers' compensation in 1956.

Over the last four decades, Mr. Wiedner has played a key role in building Wiedner & McAuliffe. Today, the Firm has a fast-growing Midwest presence with offices in Chicago and St. Louis serving the states of Illinois and Missouri.

Industry Contributions

A pioneering member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Mr. Wiedner was former Chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and a frequent faculty member for ISBA and IICLE lectures.

From 1966 to 1996, Mr. Wiedner was a prolific contributor to the ISBA’s Workers’ Compensation Law Section newsletter. In 1967, he wrote for the Illinois Law Review Workers’ Compensation Review.

Mr. Wiedner has been a contributing editor for the IICLE Illinois Workers’ Compensation Practice since its original issue.
