Summary

Karen is member of the Worker’s Compensation Defense Practice in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago office. Karen’s workers’ compensation practice emphasizes the defense of wage-loss claims. Karen is also a member of Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Medicare Set-Aside Compliance team. As a member of this team, Karen analyzes clients’ Medicare issues, prepares Set-Aside submissions, and moves for resolution of conditional payment claim issues. With her up-to-the-minute knowledge of the evolving landscape of Medicare Set-Aside compliance and rulings, clients regularly call on Karen to provide in-house training sessions and presentations for employers.

Karen graduated from Michigan State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1996.
