Mark is of counsel in the Workers’ Compensation Defense practice in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago office. Mark has been rated as an AV Preeminent lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell. With more than 30 years of experience practicing law, Mark has extensive professional credentials in the field. Mark’s workers’ compensation defense practice includes advocating for clients on Medicare Secondary Payer Act Workers’ Compensation Set-Aside submissions.

Before joining Wiedner & McAuliffe in 1986, Mark was affiliated with Roddy, Power, Leahy, Ltd. and with High School Districts 218 and 228.

Industry Contributions

Mark has served as technical advisor on workers’ compensation issues for the Republican staff of the Illinois House of Representatives. He is also a former officer and director of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association.

Mark frequently lectures to professional groups, including the Chicago Claims Management Council, on relevant workers’ compensation topics. He is also a lecturer and faculty member for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Education and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Community Involvement

Mark has served as Chair of the Walther Lutheran High School Board of Directors, as a youth basketball and baseball instructor, and served on the Council of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elmhurst, Illinois.
