Matthew is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Defense Practice in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago office. Matthew is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri.

Matthew graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2004 earning dual Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and History. He attended Southern Illinois University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2007 while also earning a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. While attending SIU Law, Matthew was an active member in the Moot Court program, serving as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board in 2006-2007 and as a member of the criminal procedure moot court team in 2006 and 2007, advancing to the quarter finals of the Intramural Moot Court competition in 2005 and the John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition in 2007. He was active in the Student Bar Association serving on both the Alumni Relations Committee in 2005-2006 and the Personnel Committee in 2006-2007; as a Pupil in the Southern Illinois American Inn of Court. In 2007 he was awarded the Lincoln Inn Award and the Order of Barristers.
