Christal is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Defense team in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s St. Louis office. She primarily defends employers and insurance carriers in disputes involving their employees in a variety of industries. Christal’s experience includes representing a wide range of clients including government entities, healthcare providers, and universities.

Prior to joining the firm, Christal served in the Missouri Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Labor and Litigation Divisions where she handled complex litigation and tried cases as first chair.

Christal graduated from Emory University with a degree in economics. She earned her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she served as the Note and Comment Editor of the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law. During law school, Christal interned for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

In her free time, Christal enjoys afternoon tea and kayaking.
