Michael is a member of the Civil Litigation practice at Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago office. His practice emphasizes insurance defense, premises liability, construction, and subrogation.
Michael graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. Thereafter, he attended Chicago-Kent College of Law and graduated magna cum laude in 2014. While attending Chicago-Kent, Michael served on the executive board for the Chicago-Kent Journal of International and Comparative Law. Michael served as a legal extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Evidence, Disability Law, and the International Humanitarian Law of Armed Conflict. Upon graduation, Michael was inducted into the Order of the Coif National Legal Honor Society. Michael joined Wiedner & McAuliffe in 2014 after clerking with the firm for 18 months while in law school.
Since graduating, Michael coaches for Chicago-Kent’s Competitive ADR Team which participates in ABA-sponsored competitions at a regional and national level. He also volunteers for Illinois YMCA Youth and Government, a program which gives high school students the opportunity to engage in simulated trials and appellate arguments.
