NEW ST. LOUIS ATTORNEY

November 01, 2010

Wiedner & McAuliffe is pleased to announce that Matthew Barnhart has recently become an attorney in our St. Louis office.  Matthew is a graduate of the University of Missouri (Kansas City) Law School, having earned his Juris Doctor in 2004.

Matthew has extensive experience in representing Missouri employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims.  As such, he has participated in seminars and has also addressed business groups, such as the National Business Institute, on matters involving continuing legal education.

His practice has also included the representation of employers in liability and casualty litigation with particular emphasis in those involving construction defects.

Our firm encourages the attorneys to participate in pro bono activities.  In a volunteer capacity, Matthew has had the honor of speaking at Missouri Kid’s Chance Seminars, which provides means of educating the children of disabled parents.  He is also a Junior Board member for TASK (Team Activities for Special Kids), an organization that creates an atmosphere where kids with special needs participate in sports and other team-related activities.

Our firm believes that Matthew will prove to be a strong asset in the handling of Missouri claims.  He has applied for a license to practice in Illinois and anticipates receiving that approval in the near future.  Matthew looks forward to providing service to our clientele.

Please feel free to welcome Matt, who can be reached at (314) 721-3400 ormjbarnhart@wmlaw.com.
