Kristen is an associate in the Workers’ Compensation Defense practice based in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Kansas Office. Kristen is a native of Atchison, Kansas and earned her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and a minor in History. Kristen is also a Kansas State University Kappa Alpha Theta alumnus. She earned her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2018 where she received Deans Honors. During law school Kristen participated in the Washburn Law Clinic and the externship program with Capitol Federal’s legal department. She received her license to practice law in Kansas in September of 2018. Kristen received her license to practice law in Missouri in April of 2022.

Kristen joined Wiedner & McAuliffe in November 2023. As a Kansas native, Kristen brings a wealth of local knowledge about the area, the legal system, and local businesses. With 6 years of legal experience working in Kansas City and with a license to practice in both Kansas and Missouri, she’s developed a keen understanding local legal procedures, client needs, and an aptitude for client service.

In her free time, she enjoys watching the Wildcats and the Chiefs, spending time with her family and being active outdoors.
