Matthew is a partner in the Workers' Compensation Defense practice based in Wiedner & McAuliffe's St. Louis office. He serves as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Matthew advocates on behalf of employers and insurance carriers addressing all facets of workers’ compensation claims with a laser focus on creating value and predictability. Understanding communication is key to building the most effective resolution strategy, Matthew thrives on collaborating with his clients. He works diligently to advance all claims to conclusion with the most favorable outcome for his clients.

Matthew speaks frequently on workers' compensation defense topics for numerous organizations and seminars including the National Business Institute, the Missouri Kids Chance Seminar, & the Missouri Self Insured Association.

Matthew is devoted to his family and volunteers in his free time as a Cub Scout den leader, soccer coach and baseball coach. He is also an avid golfer and outdoor enthusiast.
