Zane represents employers and insurance carriers in the defense of workers’ compensation and subrogation matters before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Circuit and Appellate Courts. He was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2022 and 2023.
Originally from Springfield, Illinois, Zane graduated from the University of Missouri School in 2014 with a Bachelor of Journalism in Strategic Communications. He earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2019, where he competed in moot court competitions and worked in the Child Law clinic. Before attending law school, he worked as a reporter in rural Kansas.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching the Cubs, Bears, and Bulls, and playing basketball and softball.
