Andrew is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Defense and Liability practice in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Kansas City office. He skillfully defends employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters throughout Kansas and Missouri. Andrew has defended clients at every level of litigation, from pro se settlements to the Court of Appeals. Andrew is experienced and skilled in appeals, having briefed and argued several cases before Missouri Appellate Courts.

Prior to joining Wiedner & McAuliffe, Andrew represented school districts in Kansas and Missouri in a wide variety of matters, including student and employment discrimination, contract preparation and dispute resolution, student privacy, and special education.

Andrew also has experience in public practice as an Assistant Attorney General with the Missouri Attorney General’s office. It was during this time that he became particularly skilled in handling matters before administrative tribunals and with appeals. Andrew was a frequent presenter at the annual meeting of the Missouri Department of Social Services administrative hearings unit.

Andrew clerked in Kansas for the Shawnee County District Court throughout law school.

Away from the office, Andrew enjoys time spent camping and hiking with his family in the Colorado Rockies.
