Catherine is an associate attorney of the Civil Defense Practice in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago office. Catherine joined Wiedner & McAuliffe as a law clerk in January 2024 and joined the firm as an associate upon being sworn in November 2024. Her practice areas focus primarily on product liability defense in litigation matters before State and Federal Court.
Catherine earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2024 and completed both Compliance Law and Health Law Certificates. While attending Loyola, she received a CALI award for Legal Writing I and was a member of the Health Law Society. During law school, Catherine worked as a Student Attorney for the Loyola Health Justice Clinic, and as a Summer Associate representing hospitals and healthcare systems.
Catherine graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice. While attending UW Madison, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant for the Cognitive Development and Media Lab, enjoyed volunteering at the UW Child Development Lab, and was on the UW Madison Rowing Team.
