Attorneys

Melanie is a member of the Civil Litigation team in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s St. Louis office. Melanie has extensive
courtroom experience, having tried multiple jury trials in Illinois and Missouri state courts. She is also
experienced and skilled in appellate work, having briefed and argued several cases at the 7th and 8th Circuit
Courts of Appeal. Melanie is admitted to practice in Indiana, Illinois and Missouri and multiple federal district
courts and courts of appeal.

Melanie served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office immediately prior to
coming to Wiedner & McAuliffe where she gained valuable experience defending state officials and state agencies
in all levels of litigation.

When not at the office, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband and dog and rehabbing their 170 year-old
home.
