Thomas is a partner in the Civil Litigation Practice at Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago Office. With nearly two decades of defense litigation experience, Thomas has a wide-ranging practice that encompasses premises and motor vehicle liability, insurance liability, and third-party actions. He also provides counsel on employer’s liability and civil litigation involving general tort, product, construction and slip-and-fall premises liability. Thomas has served as defense counsel in several major Illinois cases involving premises liability and workers’ compensation issues.

Thomas graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 1984.

Before joining Wiedner & McAuliffe, Thomas was associated with three Chicago area law firms: Alfieri, Abbene, Durkin and Daley, Doyle and Ryna, and Pollina and Phelan.
