Thomas is a partner in the Civil Litigation practice based in Wiedner & McAuliffe’s Chicago office. Thomas focuses his practice on construction and premises liability. Practicing for more than 30 years, he is a seasoned litigator and counselor to his clients. A former Marine, he employs a disciplined approach to case resolution.  Thomas analyzes all facts of each case, and works with his clients to determine when to settle and when to move aggressively to trial.

He provides counsel on employer’s liability and civil litigation involving general tort, product, construction and slip-and-fall premises liability. Thomas has served as defense counsel in several major Illinois cases involving premises liability and workers’ compensation issues.

Thomas is active in his Libertyville community, supporting Carmel Catholic High School’s Parents’ Club and “Street Scenes.”
